Sr. Business System Analyst

Fidelity has a wide range of financial products like mutual funds, retirement plans, asset management. It has different source system in various locations. This project is about calculating the compensation for agents who sell Fidelity products. This is a data warehousing project wherein the from several source systems is picked and sent to data marts for agent compensation after few validation checks data is picked from 7 mainframe source system and sent to staging area using ETL. The data then is directed towards a transaction enrichment data store. After a series of validation checks and filtering, the data is finally sent to the data mart. The data is utilized fir the downstream applications.

Responsibilities

●Prepared the Functional Specification Document (FSD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) as per SEI CMM standards.

●Conducted the JAD Sessions with stakeholders and developers to have a clear picture of a project.

●Supported system administration team in using Cognos software for BI planning, testing and implementation functions.

●Conduct quality assurance tests of the several Cognos software applications into practice and make note of the application failing quality tests.
