“PHOTO DEGRADATION OF PENTETIC ACID” Duration: 3 months (October 2nd 2015 – December 25th 2015)

Done a Research oriented mini project for three months at Biophore pharmaceuticals

Usp monograph method is used for limiting the impurities like Nitrilotriacetic acid and ethylene diamine

tetraacetic acid. Peak purity is more than 0.99 for pentetic acid that passes the criteria.

Role: Led the team of four members. Done the Entire Documentation of the research work.

“ETHACYRNIC ACID METHOD VALIDATION” Duration: 6 months (May 6th 2015- October 2nd 2015)

FORMULATION OF FAST DISPERSING ZILUETON DRUG Duration: 6 months ( November 6th 2014- April 26th 2015)

The project is to formulate a fast dispersing drug of zileuton, which is an anti-asthmatic drug that has low bioavailability. The entire project is done with a specific mixture of super disintegrating agents.

Different types of polymers have been used to comprise the ratio of the tablet.

Role: Project head with a team of 5 people and publishing a paper on the mechanism.

Njit lab :- ( instrumental analysis lab)

Worked under professor hussain as a part of my core course work and learned about the

Process and functioning on HPLC, GC, Atomic spectroscopy, Flame photometry etc and

Completed six projects.

New Jersey Institute Of Technology (organic chemistry and molecular modeling) Professor: - Tamara Gund

I worked under professor tamara gund for spartan software and finished a project on molecular

Modeling of a pharmacophore discovery using sybyl and Spartan softwares.

Our project explains the concept of molecular modeling using 3D structure formation in order to derive a pharmacophore. Group of nicotine agonists were taken and their conformational analysis were derived from these molecules.

Professor kim yong (researcher at the center for circadian biology) New Jersey Institute Of Technology

I worked under professor kim yong as a lab intern for his research on circadian biology and I

Learnt the protein extraction process and microbiology growth.

We worked mostly on growth of E.coli bacteria and extraction of proteins from the bacteria and recording the data .
