Executed daily operations of welding steel components and parts using Spray Arc welding. Positioned and clamped together components of fabricated metal products. Assembled and tack welded steel frames and other component parts of machinery and equipment in preparation for final welding. Measured and marked locations for metal components on assembly table, following blueprints. Performed related tasks, such as thermal cutting and grinding. Lifted and positioned components on assembly table, using electric crane, jacks and shims. Verified position of metal components in assembly, using straightedge, combination square, calipers and rule. Perform unrelated duties as may be necessary to support the needs of the facility. Executed daily operations of welding mufflers for diesel engines. Fused parts together, sealed tension points and added metal to build up parts. Identify defects to ensure parts are acceptable.

Lockheed Martin, Fort Benning, GA Oct. 2008 to Oct. 2010 Combination Welder

Executed daily operations of maintaining and repairing military vehicles and equipment. Connected regulator valves and hoses to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders and welding torch. Repaired broken and cracked metal objects, filling holes and building up metal parts. Identify defects to ensure parts are acceptable.
