Senior Global IT Program Manager

Responsible for IT Global PMO projects to include; Salesforce CRM implementation, Service Now, LMS-SABA, AWS Cloud Services, Hyperion and ERP (Oracle) system implementations and upgrades. Responsible for working with vendor consultants (Appiro, Bain, SABA, Slalom & Accenture), Teradata Sales, IT development, R&D, Engineering and Quality Control departments – responsible for entire delivery on time and within budget. In addition, performing all initiation and planning for the next phase of the CPQ (Configuration, Pricing and Quote) to be delivered in 3rd quarter 2019 – working with same vendors and consultants.

PMO – Introduced new PMO MS Teams site integrated with PowerBI, produced new Demand Management process for governance over all projects being requested into the PMO. Helped finalize COE processes from initiation to close, finalized pertinent PMO templates for standardization.

Senior Global IS Program Manager

Responsible for IS Global PMO projects to include; Web Services, Cloud (AWS), Supply Chain, ERP (SAP) system implementations and upgrades, Security Systems, Enterprise Applications (B2B) and Infrastructure – Hardware and Software. PMO services North America, Asia, Europe, Latin America and Australia. Every project requires working with multiple cross functioning teams; Business, Development, Quality control, Security, Engineering – to name just a few – many times these teams are overseas and require meetings outside our pacific time zone. Expert level at delivering in either traditional Waterfall or Agile methodology – typically manage 50/50 as the projects are assigned to me depending on type of project.

Accountable for establishing and executing all aspects of the project management function for Med-large scale, complex business solutions, mergers and acquisitions (integrations) and infrastructure programs and/or portfolio of medium-large sized projects that are delivered across the Ingram global landscape. I effectively manage and deliver 4-6 projects simultaneously that involve a combination of the following attributes: program investment that exceeds $10 million, multiple technology disciplines (Web, SAP, CRM, EDI, B2B, etc) global or multiple region geographic delivery, geographically disbursed delivery teams, and/or the highest-level technical complexity. My management function includes, but is not limited to Project Leadership, Planning, Budgets, Administration, Communication plans, Contract Management and Financial Management.

My projects average at least 9-12 months, this past year I completed 12 projects on time, within budget and exceeded stakeholder expectations, I was also instrumental in helping the department implement MS Project Online utilizing a cloud solution, I worked with Sensei (MS Solution Vendor) to create custom dashboard reporting for the entire PMO. I delivered highly visible, successful projects to include; new Ingram Micro websites in over 6 Countries, new SAP platform for 4 Countries and on boarding over 2 dozen new customers for our supply chain business including Wal-Mart, GoPro, Apple and HP to name a few and completed a couple merger acquisitions integrating our systems. I am also tasked with mentoring and training junior to mid-level project managers within our PMO – with these mentoring, I handle all their project escalations for resolution and keeping their projects on track.

COX Communications, San Diego, CA 2006–2013

Senior Project Manager / PMO

Lead and provide leadership to highly visible, sensitive and multi faceted projects. Set strategic direction of projects from beginning to end. Develop project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required. Design new processes or modify existing to address identified issues reported from the field or customers. Provide staff leadership to multi disciplinary teams, as well as manage work of outside consultants and vendors. Motivate team members and facilitate cross-functional team meetings for project status and reviews. Responsible for successfully rolling out new wireless products, and nationwide training. Lead all major facility projects, included leading a major construction move from multiple locations into one single headquarters in Down Town San Diego at Diamond View Towers – 5 floors housing over 800 employees and getting the broadcasting room ready to go live with Padres first game of the season on time and within budget. Completed many successful projects including: key process improvement initiatives in the Customer Service Call Center, System Operations, multiple video and software tool launches, major residential and Cox Business projects for non-standard sales requirements, example Pacific Beacon – an exclusive 2,400-unit Navy facility involving many requirements outside the box – WIFI deployment, dedicated military channels and unique E-911 requirements – delivered on time and within budget. The past three years have been spent managing consolidating system operations and total transaction reduction projects in unifying all California systems into one single system. These continuous improvement projects have reduced operational cost in reduction of call in rate and truck rolls and numerous process improvements.

Senior Software Development Project Manager

This Senior PM position was in a true Project Management environment – meaning everyone involved in the projects reported directly to myself – including Software Engineers, Development, Quality Insurance and Technical writing team.

Responsible for flagship product line ensuring all software and hardware projects were completed on time and within budget. Lead multiple teams including; software development, integration and test, technical writing and engineering to deliver on approved product development plans and maintenance activities. Worked hand in hand with sales and marketing to help develop product strategies and RFP responses to earn business and meet customer demands.

Managed several highly visible and multimillion-dollar projects in working with vendors and customer to ensure project requirements were met, status reports and lead meetings, some of these were delivering 9-1-1 solutions to Charlotte, NC, LAPD and Dallas PD to name a few. Directed the development and progress of software development projects from “end to end” within the Project Management Lifecycle framework. Developed and maintained schedules, product specifications, project plans and project budgets. Managed Beta planning and implementation until project was completed and released.
