Cemetery Caretaker Technician. This cemetery is working under a flexible concept wherein the incumbent will perform both field and administrative functions. When performing field functions the incumbent will report to the Foreman, when performing administrative duties the incumbent will report to the Administrative Officer. Incumbent assists in accomplishing burials, performing such tasks as operating a variety of equipment which has an assortment of towed or attached accessories powered by take-off, hydraulic pumps or by direct drive by wheels. Grounds maintenance: Mowing (using walk behind mowers), manual hedge trimmers, sodding and seeding of graves, planting, minor pruning of shrubs; blowing of streets and sidewalks, policing unsightly flowers, picking up trash and debris from cemetery grounds, painting, raking, washing down equipment and tools, washing headstones (using plain water), cleaning planters and performs miscellaneous janitorial tasks. Assisted in the overhaul of two Combined Contaminated Fuel Detector (CCFD), ensuring the fuels lab maintained 100% operational readiness.

FILTER OPERATOR-Assisted in the safe receipt and transfer of over 2 million gallons of JP-5 during 6 underway replenishment, ensuring it was completed without incidents. Contributed in the issue of over 50,000 gallons of clean and contamination-free JP-5 to embarked/transient aircraft support equipment and diesel generators, without any mishaps. Played a key role in the rehabilitation of two JP-5 Pump Rooms in preparation for INSURV.

PUMP ROOM SUPERVISOR-Supervise 8 Airman delivering over 10 million gallons of contaminated free JP-5 to the Flight Deck with zero mishaps. Maintain 2 services filters and 2 services pumps. Inspected and install filter elements on 2 JP-5 services filters

CREW LEADER-Trained and supervise new personnel on the flight deck safety and proper grounding of aircraft. Conducted over 7,000 fueling evolutions. And the defueling of over 30 aircraft.

BOATSWAIN’S MATE-Train, direct, and supervise personnel in ship maintenance duties in all activities relating to marlinspike, deck, boat seamanship, painting, upkeep of ships external structure, rigging, deck equipment and boats. Boatswain’s Mate take charges of working parties; perform seamanship tasks; act as petty officer-in-charge of picket boats, self-propelled barges, tugs, and other yard and district craft.
