Responsibilities:-

• Inspection, surveillance & monitoring of Pipe Fit-up and welding as per approved Inspection and Test plan requirement and in compliance with ASME section IX, ASME B 31.3 and Shell DEP.

• Very familiar with Drawings such as P&IDs, Isometrics, GADs, PFDs, Equipment layout, Plot plans etc.

• Conduct Hydro test of welded pipelines, Heat Exchanger as per client specification and ensure the approved Documents and Redline Markup Drawings are available on site.

• Assuring the Qualified Welders and the suitable welding consumables as per WPS is available for a particular work to be performed and the welding is proceeding as per the approved WPS.

• Level 2 trained for Oxygen systems

• Implementation of color coding system as per project specification and requirement.

• Inspection of Pressure vessels Heat exchangers and columns

• Hydro testing of pipe lines, pressure vessels, Heat exchangers etc.

• Awareness training for Flange Technicians, Welders and Supervisors are conducted.

• Proceeding and Offering for various NDT Inspections such as Visual, DPT, MPI and RT as per Approved ITP on the welded joints and supporting the execution team by approving the joint with minimal delay.

• Preparation / Review of Flange Database, Mechanical Completion Package (MCP), Drawings and Final Dossiers.

• Inspection of flange face and Witnessing of Tightening (Torqueing and Tensioning) of process Piping, Equipment, Column, all types of pressure vessel (including heat exchangers) and Tanks man-ways/nozzle.

• Familiar with Boroscopic Inspection of process Piping, Equipment, Column, all types of pressure vessel (including heat exchangers)

• Familiar with material inspection, dimensional check and documentation as per Construction material standard such as ASTM / ASME SA 106, SA 515, SA 516, SA 105, SA 312, SA 240, SA 234

• Good knowledge in Radiographic interpretation of weld joints, ultrasonic inspection, Magnetic particle inspection and penetrant testing Reporting and documentation

• Thorough knowledge welding standards of ASME SEC IX. Familiar with Welding Procedure Qualification, Welder qualification, P numbers, Selection of Electrodes, Weld visual inspection etc

• Knowledge of Construction codes (ASME SEC VIII, ASME B13.3) and I inspection codes (API 510, 570)

• Familiar with material inspection, documentation as per construction materials standards.

• Hydro test as per client specification and handling QA/QC reports.

• Carried out inspection, surveillance,monitoring piping and welding as per approved inspection and test plan requirement

• Verifying that dimensions and alignment tolerance of the pipe system as per specification. Certification
