Work Experience:

Aug 2015 – Present: Consultant, working with several clients on various projects. HR consultant and Recruitment consultant through my own consulting company.

Jan 2015 – July 2015: Relocated to B.C. Contract. Cai Lun Management, Recruiter. Strategic recruitment for Management level to C-level Executives; and in all functional areas including finance, IT, HR, Sales and Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc. Depending on clients’ needs, we handled both permanent and temporary career opportunities.

July 2013 – July 2014: Contract. Crohn’s and Colitis Canada – Corporate Head Office in Toronto. In my role I am the Recruitment and IT Coordinator, for all of Canada. I was the National Recruitment Coordinator for the not-for-profit organization. Completing full cycle Corporate Recruiting Nationally and on behalf of the National Head Office. I oversee all aspects of technology for the organization.

Sept 2012 – April 2013: Contract. Edward Jones, Toronto, providing full cycle Recruiting and Consulting to Corporations and Companies, specializing in Technical Recruitment and Corporate Recruitment. Services include onsite or remote recruiting, RPO, Sourcing, Selection, Interviewing, Offer negotiation and candidate on-boarding. Edward Jones is a large almost 100-year old global Financial Institution in the sourcing and selection of candidates with client revenues well exceeding 3.5 billion USD.

July 2010 – March 2012: Contract. Head2Head, Toronto – Senior Recruitment Consultant. RPO project outsourced working with a TD Bank to internally recruit for full-time roles at corporate head-office for 3-4 months. Working in partnership with the Hiring Manager's at the Bank on the fully cycle of recruitment activity. Also, I was working, internally, on-site for Wolters Kluwer's Canadian Head Office on full cycle recruit for over a year. Last project, with Pharma Trust recruiting for corporate head office.

May 2009 – April 2010: Contract. Volt Workforce Solutions, Toronto – Senior Technical Recruiter. Full cycle of Contract Recruitment and presentation to the Hiring Manager’s at TD Bank. Brought on to kick-start this new client to Volt and was the first Recruiter to successfully hire with the client out of a team of 7 Recruiters. Recruiting the entire Bank’s Contract Hires across North America at Head Office and all regions that the Bank supports.

April 2007 – January 2009: Contract. Ceridian Canada Ltd, Toronto. Outsourced to Open Text Corporation as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. Responsible for the full cycle of Recruitment activity, for full-time hires across North America, all positions, including; Consulting, Technical, Executive, Business and Global initiatives.

Top revenue generator for my client as well as the top earner for my entire Division of the Company. Was recognized as the Top Team and awarded for the Open Text Account for the year 2007.

Awards:

(2008) Top Earner/Revenue Generator January through October 2008 inclusive and several Top awards in this area on a monthly basis for this year.

(2007) Top Team – Ceridian Top Team award for client Open Text.

(1995) I was one of three finalists for the Ross McReath Award, a graduating Scholarship in Sales and Marketing.

I am a professional Recruiter, and was a, Talent Acquisition Specialist, a Branch Manager and an Executive Account Manager-Staffing/Recruitment Professional. My recent years of employ have included; Consulting, External Recruitment, Internet Marketing, Account Management, Sales, Training, New Client Accounts, and Management with direct reporting to the CFO/President. I am a graduate with honours at Seneca, School of Communication Arts, in the Mass Communications department. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree at York University in the Psychology Department. My courses were structured so that I have worked with many people in different areas of interest. To fully self-finance my education I was employed full-time while in school full-time. During that time, I advanced to a highly responsible Managerial position due to my demonstrated leadership qualities and hard work. My various jobs helped to improve my communication skills, which have assisted in my educational and career goals. I work well in-groups, and enjoy many independent duties.
