Stewarding Supervisor Responsible:

• Reporting to the Stewarding supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are As Stewarding supervisor, Responsible for managing the Stewarding team to ensure a well-run food and beverage back-of-house operation. This includes the proper maintenance of all operating equipment, compliance with food hygiene and safety standards, and compliance with environmentally-friendly initiatives. Specifically, a Stewarding supervisor will perform the following tasks to the highest standards

Manage garbage control for kitchen and back of the house area.

Set and break down buffet chafing dish.

Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues

Inform on daily basis Chief steward or Executive Chef of all relevant operational

Operate an industrial dishwasher

Ensure the kitchen Colleagues have the dishes/silverware required and guests have clean dishes

Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher

Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner

Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried

Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times

Follow department policies, procedures and service standards

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Other duties as assigned

Conduct on the job training for his juniors and also draws a training plan

Prepare staff performance reports as required
