Residency program coordinator for 18 transitional year residents and 12 podiatry residents. Track and maintain program requirements for all residents to ensure they meet graduation requirements. Integral part of the day-to-day operations of the residency programs

Assign evaluations for residents and faculty physicians each month for each rotation.

Check in visiting residents and medical students to ensure all check in documentation is collected for auditing purposes. This is part of the Medicare reimbursement process. Requesting computer and badge access and responsible for 18 Kaiser Emergency Medicine residents and 18 Family Health Center’s family medicine residents.

Administrates and maintains New Innovations and MyEvaluations. Provides training/assistance to all residents and faculty; coordinates and updates all residency curriculum including evaluations. Routes notifications to Program Director with any issues or concerns regarding resident evaluations.

Maintains and updates master rotation schedule for PGY 1 residents, PGY 1, 2 and 3 Podiatry residents as well as visiting residents from UCSD Psych, FHC family Medicine and Chula Vista Family Medicine residents.

Processes requests for elective rotations, including all rotation related paperwork for other sites. Communicates and corresponds with point of contact at rotating sites regarding rotation schedules and check in documentation needed.

Enters accurate resident and rotation schedule information into IRIS spreadsheet for information for Medicare reimbursements.

Completes and processes license applications for podiatry residents.

Responsible for the completion of new resident contracts for transitional year and podiatry resident and the contract renewal process for existing podiatry residents.

Assigns end of year residency surveys to transitional year and podiatry residents and presents data to Program Directors and Director of Graduate Medical Education.

Assists Manager of Graduate Medical Education with preparation of activities related to program graduation including awards, certificates and ballots/voting for resident and faculty awards. Have assisted with maintenance of guest list of invitees, alumni, faculty and staff.

Provides support to program committees, including Transitional Year Program Evaluation and Transitional Year Clinical Competency Committees and Quarterly Podiatric Education Committee.
