Responsible for SEC filings and SOX implementation as well as accounting, finance, cash management, investor relations, tax planning and compliance, risk management, product costing, and budgeting. Eliminated two material weaknesses. Upgraded and integrated managerial and financial accounting systems worldwide in order to provide timely and accurate information. Reduced overhead costs, including professional fees, insurance, and telecommunications.

ARTEMIS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (1998 - 2006) FORT WAYNE, INDIANA

Privately held start-up supplying specialized fruit products such as concentrates, natural colors, and standardized extracts to the food and dietary supplement industries.

Vice President. Developed strategy to secure competitive advantage through sourcing arrangements and superior customer service. Implemented business systems in accounting, inventory, human resources and logistics. Responsible for juice concentrate and natural color sales as well as logistics, finance and administration.

WATERFURNACE RENEWABLE ENERGY, INC. (1995-1998) FORT WAYNE, INDIANA

Publicly traded (Toronto Stock Exchange), US$35 million manufacturer of water-source heat pumps.

President and CEO. Responsible for all aspects of the parent company and three subsidiaries (manufacturing, distribution, and ground loop installation). Responsibilities included strategic planning, North American sales, international sales, marketing, engineering, product development, accounting, finance, materials, manufacturing, distribution, and information systems as well as promoting the industry and its technology by working with trade groups, government agencies (DOE and EPA), and electric utilities. Accomplishments include:

- Raised profitability from $154,000 to $1.2 million on a 13% increase in annual sales;

- Restructured sales force to improve service to different channels of distribution;

- Developed international sales network which resulted in the largest order in company history;

- Instituted cross-functional phase review program to evaluate and track product development;

- Selected and implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system on time and under budget.

- Negotiated new bank loans and refinancing which increased our borrowing capability over 250% and relieved the severe cash shortage that initially existed;
