Piping Designer / Checker Gulf Interstate Engineering, Houston, Texas 2011 – 2016 Assigned to the Kern River Project’s remote turbine compressor station in Elberta, Utah. Upon completion of the Kern River start-up, I was relocated to GIE’s home office in Houston, Texas. While there, I was initially involved with a pipeline integrity project where, by utilizing GIS technology, we could identify existing pipelines with their associated shortcomings and accurately predict problem areas in need of further research or repair by the client. After completion of this pipeline project, I was assigned the positions of Piping Designer and Design Checker, completing multiple mid-stream pipeline projects to include compressor and regulator stations, launchers and receivers.
