Employer: General Electric Company - Van Buren Township, MI Title: Database Engineer: Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g, 12c, 13c Member of a small team supporting one of the world's largest Oracle Enterprise Manager installations, monitoring over 43,000 targets worldwide. My responsibilities included supported the underlying Oracle RDBMS, OEM Weblogic Server, Dynamic Groups, Metric Extensions, Metric Collections, Notification Groups, Metric Templates as well as constant interactions with Database Teams that needed support and education regarding the use of the system. I interfaced frequently with Oracle Support to create and monitor service requests related to problem issues and helped to plan and implement patches and updates and upgrades i.e. 11g to 12c to 13c. My role included extensive use of EMCLI, SQL and PL/SQL. I developed a set of specialized PL/SQL programs used to extract OEM repository data and for transfer to other corporate systems. Designed and developed a database and application to collect and track registrations for non-profit events (Golf Outings and Auctions). This system was first developed with MS Access and provided a method to collect detailed information related to donated items for auction. The system was expanded to allow for the tracking of bids at auction and the recording of payment for said items. It also provided several accounting reports for close-out accounting activities. This system was later re-designed using MySQL database that interfaced with a PHP application allowing entry similar functionality, but with a convenient web-based interface. Provided Oracle DBA services and analysis for the purpose of migrating several Oracle databases from a Novell Platform using Oracle 8.0.4 to Windows 2000 (NT) on a Compaq Proliant server using Oracle 8i (8.1.7). Also installed and configured Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) in order to provide ongoing, remote database support using the OEM intelligent agent, event monitor and paging system. Oracle ERP applications system installation and migration for Sun Micro-Electronics in Santa Clara, CA. Activities included instance and applications migrations for integrated systems testing and use of ChainLink version control software. Maintenance of a specialized web based performance monitoring system designed to collect performance and lock wait statistics of several Oracle applications systems. Oracle technical support as a member of a large team of consultants for W.W. Grainger. Systems used included clustered Sun E10K with Oracle and SAP. Activities included acting as a resource for technical issues, documenting system parameters, and helping to re-create the production site at Sun's research labs in Palo-Alto, CA.

Project: Oracle WebServer & Data Warehousing Application Title: Database Analyst, Administrator and Developer Installed and configured Oracle WebSystem version 2.x on an IBM 320 Server running under Microsoft Windows NT version 3.51. Created database objects; tables, resource profiles and PL/SQL as required during development of this new HTML, Oracle based reporting system. The system accesses multiple remote databases

(see prior project) via SQL*NET using remote database links and table snapshots. Security developed as part of the application restricts report (HTML) generation to authorized users of specific reports. HTML reports generated are stored in the database and made available to users via browsers. This system was enthusiastically welcomed by the engineering community at this company as a means of examining information used to improve the quality of the manufacturing processes. Used Oracle Designer 2000 to document and maintain the database structures.
