Successfactors Project Manager, Jan. 2017 to Present

Implementing multiple HCM and Payroll solutions for clients throughout Europe and Scandinavia. Executed pre sales work for Lloyds banking group (Attending client-facing meetings with key potential project stakeholders, interested parties and Procurement, to answer questions about the potential solution or proposed methodology). Implemented global payroll, time, and attendance and portal systems with SAP OM and HR modules by utilising ADP Globalview system.

Key Contributions:

Managed ADP (from the client-side) for completing payroll implementation in a six month period, before deadline.

The project was in disarray when I arrived, and was disorganized, I got it back on track, with a short-term plan and introduced several sets of meetings to bring relevant parties together.

Create a new plan with achievable, agreed tasks and monitored them daily with project members.

Sapphire Systems – The Shard, London

Senior Project Manager, June 2016 to Aug 2016

Directed all operations associated with six small projects, while tactfully negotiating two large contracts for the implementation of projects Sapphire did not gain the contracts.

Key Contribution:

Carried out pre sales activities as well as designed effective templates for sales to ensure selling software packages compatible with the delivery of sapphire implementation team.

Attained 125% of annual performance bonus by achieving set goals and targets. Oracle Implementation Project Manager, April 2008 to Aug 2010

Played significant roles as Domain-lead, SME, and site project manager for customer services divisions for two entities within Thales.

Led B1 project functions for installing Oracle 11i (V11.5.2.10) for Leicester and Crawley locations to transfer two aerospace divisions onto Thales corporate rollout program spanning over five European countries and nine divisions. My duties included –

Project planning and setting up Conference room pilots, UAT, etc.

Stakeholder Management - Managing sessions with the Business to gain the As-Is knowledge. Then created the To-Be processes and gained Business signoff’s for designs. Used change control process for any changes required afterwards.

Producing the weekly project status reports by consolidating 28 reports into one. This weekly report went to over 200 staff in the business, globally.

Stakeholder Management – Hosted Monthly meetings with the Company Executive team and the Steering Committee to keep them fully briefed about progress and discuss major issues or concerns with them. I gave them a budget forecast at the same meeting.

All Training needs, Project budgeting (RFA’s and budget modelling),

Overseeing development of BI transactional reports and then the installation and set-up of Noetix Views to run Management reports

Vendor (Recruitment and resource) management – sole contact with our main vendor- KPIT. KPIT are an Indian company and most of our Technical staff was off-shore. Prior to this we used TCS (Tata Consulting), again, I was the sole contact for TCS.

Set-up of infrastructure (Sun servers, RF Barcoding WAP’s, etc) and project environments

Overseeing/agreeing the set-up of 85 job-roles for user-security to satisfy Sox security requirements

Creation of standard operating procedures using Oracle UPK

Overseeing the test script creation, overseeing the Business Scenario creation (used for CRP’s and User acceptance testing)

Being part of the core management team (with the Technical and Functional leads), to make all major project decisions,

Creating all of the methodology documentation such as Quality plan, Customer care plan, transition plan, Security and Architecture documents (as we had to agree all user security and Infrastructure changes with a central team in the USA), risk log, issues log, lessons learned report and any others required by Cummins ITPM methodology. Used both Waterfall and Agile approaches. Agile approach used for requesting other regions to check global developments created for current project-needs.

I was also an ITPM methodology trainer and ran 2-day training classes for new project managers.

I acted as the project sponsor on many other small projects to allow me to mentor other staff whilst they learned to run projects.

All of the above are using Six Sigma project methodology to manage them, but the Oracle development project followed AIM methodology for Development tasks. We also followed a core 11-step process, created by our Global Oracle technical team to ensure we were setting up the Database in a common-agreed fashion.
