PROFFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
Name of Organization: Escaby Technology June 2015 - Nov 2016 Role: Project Engineer
• Provided technical support, identified and implemented various improvements in product design using AutoCAD and Solid works, also applying LPD for reduction in long duration cycle time and bring innovative solutions.
• Worked with purchasing to assure supplier performance by maintaining regular reports and actions implements time to time.
• Conducted supplier audits to achieve process standardization, waste elimination and continuous improvement.
• Monitored, communicated and improved process performance using KPI also conducting supplier OTD (Past due), calculating DPPM, eliminating waste and also established long/short quality goals.
• Executed projects to achieve cost efficiency and productivity, applied DMAIC to improve safety and quality of the process, and achieve reduction in manufacturing cost by reducing scrap rate by 98% and improvement in six sigma level.
• Analyzed and reviewed charts, reports and information relating to scrap, rework, customer returns and defective materials. Name of Organization: ONGC May 2014 – June 2014
Role: Engineering Intern
• Worked at Co-Generation Plant as a Maintenance Engineer on Gas Turbine and Boilers, analyzing the maintenance cycle and preparing a project report in a group of 3 on Gas Turbine Inspection & Maintenance.
• Where we in a group covered aspects Gas Turbine overview its components, lubrication system, fuel and fuel supply system, exhaust and vibrations, performance and mechanical equipment’s, control systems, installations, operations and maintenance.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Lean Manufacturing January 2018 – Present
• Applied Lean Manufacturing to already existing process and improved its process cycle time and the overall product quality.
• Tried to implement various Lean Tools for continuous improvement, applied PDCA, SIPOC, kaizen, 5S, checklist, control plan initially in the project and tried to find bottlenecks and delays by conducting Root cause analysis and used cause and effect diagram.
• Conducted Value Stream Mapping, Level production to improve the process time and FMEA in improving product quality.
• Accomplishment: - Reduction in process cycle time from around 44hrs to 32hrs by saving around 16hrs of time and also improved in product quality in terms of properties and appearance. Process Improvement in Health care (Reducing wait time in ED) January 2018 – May 2018 Applied LSS to a Healthcare ER where project objective was to reduce wait time of patients, used QI/PI tools improve through-put with safe and on time patient admission and on time discharge in Emergency department to Acute care services. The PDSA helped in designing a SOP with robust solution & eliminated the flaws in the ED one by one.
• Reduction in Organization Time brought access in getting enough capacity in Emergency department will be improved, VSM helped in improving efficiency of the project by letting know the bottlenecks. Warehouse Management August 2017 – December 2017
• Conducted a warehouse inventory management project in a group where we forecasted the supply of order and optimize the future batch order, we used Excel where we took a one-year duration, also used SAS for data set evaluation.
