Ensuring in process compliance by monitoring processes, identifying any defects and making changes for final scale up and handover to production department.

Analyzing various processes/applications and recommending modifications & equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.

Adhering to quality standards and overseeing implementation of various stages of workflow using quality tools. Maintaining PPAP documentation.

Conducting regular inspection and tests to ensure the performance capacity of various machines and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

TOOL DESIGNING:

Undertaking design reviews, debugging of multi cavity connectors and other automotive molds and dies involved in qualification procedures of moulds and dies after the product approvals.

Scheduling design jobs to Tool Designers & ensuring timely completion as per pre-set parameters and liaising with customers for approvals and shipment of the moulds and dies.

Developing tooling components (plastic interiors, exteriors with wire harness product) for automobiles.

SOURCING & VENDOR DEVELOPMENT:

Identifying, negotiating and developing a dedicated supplier/vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time.

Managing overall procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares and other necessary items after budgeting and planning funds for procurement ensuring optimum utilization & maximum cost savings.

Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc.
