Summary

Talented person seeks Employment in the Customer Service field. I have excellent people skills, a strong desire to complete tasks correctly the first time using the least amount of time and parts. I have a talent to emulate what the person involved in the situation is going through, so I am able to recommend the most constructive course of action to achieve the best solution for both parties, provding the customer with the best value for their money and usually within a short of time.

One quick example is a customer arrives at my store with a weak battery in their automobile. I test the battery, show them the results of the test, and convince them to purchase a replacement battery from my store. Two goals have been accomplished, I have brought the automobile back to its reliable status, and I have sold a battery, increasing my sales amount for the day.

During my caeer, I have been complimented on my verbal communication skills. When I worked for Advance Auto Parts and during the time that I worked in a Civil Service Capacity with the Department of the Navy, I was called upon to provide the proper personnel, both Civilian and Uniformed Active Duty

personnel with the proper information the first time.

Skills

I am able to prioritize work tasks, from the tasks that take the least amount of resources, to the more complicated ones, including following required Company Protocols, and safety Guidelines.

I am able to complete complex, multi step tasks without supervision, but I also know when to ask for help when a situation occurs that I have questions about. I have a very sharp learning curve and I am usually not required to be shown a procedure more than once. I am a very detailed oriented person that uses any tools required to keep documents from being damaged.

I have an excellent working knowledge of Windows based personal computers running all of the current Windows Operating Systems.

Experience

Counter Sales/Commercial Parts Drive

Supervsor-General Manager, Mr. Keith Brown, 757-***-****

I performed all of the Counter Service functions, including looking up parts for a vehicle being repaired, by use of the company computer system, locating parts that were available on site, and ordering any parts that could not be obtained locally. I also recommended Commercial Repair Facilities from a list of shops maintained by our store for repairs that were beyond the customer's abilities to perform themselves.

I was the highest earning employee at my store for the last sales quarter, out performing the rest of my Team Members by over $3,000.000.

I tested automotive batteries both in and out of the vehicle, I put batteries onto a charging station and tested the battery prior to returning the unit to the customer. I also made use of a battery diagnostic tester and charge system analyzer to determine the state of the battery, and charging system in the vehicle. I also installed automotive batteries that the customers had purchased from the store, including cleaning battery terminals and installing any maintenance products to prevent the recurrence of the corrision problem. I installed replacement windhield wiper blades that customers had purchased as well.

I am proficient in the use of Electronic Control Module scanning tool that is used to determine common engine sensor and control system failures.

I was constantly complimented by my Supervisor, based on the positive feed back received by my customers.

As a Commercial Parts Delivery Driver, I also provided accurate and timely support for the delivery of commercial parts, many units that had waiting customers, my phrase was, I deliver the right part the first time.

Any time my assigned duties were current, I would stock with inventory from the incoming trucks and take care of any housekeeping duties, including dumping the trash and cleaning the floors and display fixtures.
