Night Shift Extrusion Manager for this aluminum extruder with 100 employees with 4 presses
which are 7 and 2- 9 as well as a 11 and 16 press, I focus on the safety quality and
production as well. Maintaining PPH and following schedule to meet on time delivery, Also
assist with maintenance on trouble shooting or fixing the breakdowns to minimize the
downtime .
6/16- 5/17 Mi- Metals- Smyrna, TN
Extrusion Manager- for this aluminum extruder with 54 employees with 2 Presses
which both are 8" press, using 6063,6061, and 6005 Alloy. Responsible for
production and 3 shifts with 6 press crews. This includes: Safety, Quality, Pounds per
hour, Records, Scheduling, Scrap minimization/recovery with complete and on time
delivery. Training of new employees.
Developed and implemented SOP for each position in Extrusion with Safety first focus
Cross-train all employees for all positions
