Senior Software QA Application Specialist

STATLINE provides highly specialized communications and technology expertise to organ, tissue and eye procurement organizations as well as the hospitals they serve. From their centralized location in Denver, CO, they serve well over 80 procurement agencies in the US and Canada. They are an FDA-registered Tissue Bank and adhere to all relevant CMS and FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11 compliance with their IT systems.

At STATLINE I worked as a Senior Software QA Application Specialist and a CCR Test Lead on various products but predominantly on DONAR TRAC PLUS (https://www.donortracplus.org/ ) This software has been developed and used for over 20 years meeting the needs of various organ procurement agencies throughout the country in the fields of organ, tissue and eye donation and transplantation. The software actually handles the whole end to end process from referral to transplant seamlessly.

Baxter is an American healthcare company with headquarters in Deerfield, IL. The company focuses mainly to treat hemophilia, kidney disease, immune disorders and other chronic and acute medical conditions.

At Baxter I worked as a QA analyst on a product named ABACUS. This software is the culmination of 15 years of experience meeting the total parenteral nutrition (TPN) needs of hospital and homecare facilities. This windows based software calculates complex TPN orders for pre-mix products or the EXACTMIX Compounder, promotes drug safety and reduces user error, and more. Followed AGILE testing methodology. Daily SCRUM status meetings are critical for the advancement of the project.

Responsibilities:

●Underwent severe compliance training to adhere to the safety procedures followed company wide.

●Trained on the ABACUS software that’s been serving the industry for more than a decade.

●Analyzed the business requirements interacting closely with the business teams.

●Identifying the risks by analyzing the software by doing a top down procedure check.

●Used AUTO IT Test writer software (built in house) to convert the manual test cases into automation test scripts, which is a key driven framework developed by the QA automation team.

I was responsible to develop, implement and maintain test plans, test cases, UAT and back-end testing.
