HYUNDAI ROTEM, HYDERABAD (Rolling Stock manufacturing Company, South Korea) Position: Procurement Engineer [July 2016 to till date] Handling procurement for a mega contract worth 1563 Cr. for Hyderabad Metro Rail project. Solely handled spare parts procurement worth 40 Cr. till date. Roles and responsibilities:

Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by Design Department.

Responsible for handling suppliers across globe involved in negotiation on delivery lead time, cost and quality in the best interest of the company and to optimize maximum benefit from the deal.

Drive, develop the procurement strategies in order to meet cost saving targets.

Preparing switching invoices and packing list for material directly sent by OEMs.

Meeting the challenging day to day requirements of clients and providing contractual spares within deadline and minimize negative impact on business of the company.

Regularly meeting with clients and vendors to understand and resolve the requirements related to procurement.

Maintaining the desired level of inventory of spares so that the customer requirements are met from time to time and each forecast is met.

Position: Quality Assurance Engineer, Feb 2015 to June 2016 Worked as Quality Assurance Engineer overlooking and maintaining quality of copper and aluminum lugs and connectors. Company is having turnover of more than 100 crores. Roles and responsibilities:

Incoming raw material (copper, aluminum and other alloys) analysis and inspection.
