Working on a migration Project moving from, EDI Doss platform to a AS400 platform. Primary responsibility. Setting up, Trading partners and transaction set onto the AS400 system. Create all mapping instructions using DiCentral platform for mapping and translation. Setting up communication with Van and AS2 trading partners. Testing all transaction sets, work flow from DiCentral to As400 upload. Review all upload for accuracy between DItranslate, Mapping instruction, and AS400 Order management system.
Where necessary make all adjustment to mapping instruction, or review AS400 performance with company’s consultant.

Daily responsibilities vary according to the assigned incident tickets. Delivery of maps requested by clients and set up trading partners. Write and Process Service Level Agreement for clients before maps are delivered. Write Ticket Request for map creations as needed.
Write SMP for clients who do not have a signed EDI Assurance with CGS. Analyze and troubleshoot EDI requested by clients. This can be any issue relating to the EDI process both in test or production.
Work on client migration to/from different platforms. Migration goes from Gentran to Tie 5.2 and from Tie 4.4 to Tie 5.2. All new clients set up are done on Tie 5.2.
Communicate daily on updates to all tickets.
Responsible for reporting time log and weekly production report to management. Act as a liaison between departments including programming group and upper management as well as clients.
Platforms: Gentran, Tie 4.4 and Tie 5.2.
Accomplishments
Clients work on a contract bases. This company offer only standard transaction set in the contract to clients. All other transaction set, need a service level agreements before any work can be started. Working with incident tickets is a standard way of doing business for this company. This company have their own EDI system known as Tie.

Application Analyst:
The scope of my responsibility, was to administer the EDI functions for four Sandvik Companies. Each company had a different EDI platform and Application systems. Monitored daily communication and upload into each client application system. Set up testing and place into production new trading partners. Mapping and testing all transaction Set: 850(PO), 810 (INV), 855 (PO ACK), 856 (ASN), Reviewed, and made adjustments to implementation guide, per customers request. Worked on all incident service tickets open by clients and customers, relating to EDI issues. Following ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) process for service support. Making sure the integrity of both inbound and outbound data meets EDI standard. Worked with developers to ensure harmonization between X-12 Standard andApplications files. I supported four division of Sandvik, each with their own unique EDI translator and Application Software.
EDI platform: Mercator Trading Partner/ PC32, Trusted Link Version 6.0, Extol Integrator. Application platform: AS400 (SAP), Mainframe and AS400 (OEEN), AS 400 (ASI). Worked as part of a migration team for two years, moving all four companies onto Sandvik B2B Global platform. While supporting the daily EDI function for companies in the process of moving.
