Authored System Design Requirements, FMEA, Validation plan using ASIC mythology. Oversaw all accepts of Inverter’s System level interface with the Customer (Ford). The Inverter powers 3 strategically positioned 120V AC HVPO (High voltage Howe outlets) primarily for used by the skilled trades in Ford F150 truck lines.

Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, MI (July 2016– April 2018)

Product Engineer: Contracting to Ford Motor Company in the Connected Vehicle and Service Department. Feature owner of My Ford Mobile (MFM) and Lincoln way (LW). Analyze and resolve issues related to Mobile App development and its connectivity to vehicle Modem controllers over SDN. Also responsible for the architecture and development of several concepts of HMI (Human Machine Interface), including feature concept creation, iteration and implementation. Working with feature owners, and systems engineers in order to create high fidelity prototypes and specifications.

Systems Engineer: Contracting to Panasonic to work as a System Engineer in FORD Infotainment Systems group. In Plant Flash Engineer: Contracted to Ford Motor Company in the Powertrain Control Engineering Group. Ford has decided to program electronic controllers in the Plant instead of programming at vendor site to reduce complexity of part numbers. Authored Specification to implement the flash (program) process of the controllers by wirelessly downloading vehicle specific calibration and program files in real-time, while vehicle is being assembled. Coordinating efforts to implement the process in various Ford Plants worldwide.

Senior Control Engineer, Livonia Transmission Plant, Livonia, MI (11/02 – 1/07)

Position included supervisory, machine control, power distribution, manufacturing, and budgeting/scheduling/time critical project completion. Responsible for all aspects of Traceability and Control engineering within my jurisdiction with emphasis on quality control. Gained knowledge of electrical systems analysis, including short circuit calculation and sizing protective devices. Dealt with basic rotating machine design, operation, and maintenance, and other electrical distribution & operational issues, including pneumatic systems and servo system using PID controller.
