Imbedded within the 2-47 Infantry battalion as a certified athletic trainer. Provided medical coverage for all basic combat training soldiers training under the battalion until graduation after 10 weeks. Duties included: initial injury evaluation, clinical diagnosis, development of rehabilitation programs, emergency and acute care at training events, injury, nutrition, and basic biomechanics briefs, gait analysis and corrections, and data collection regarding Trainee injuries.
