Motor Rewinder/Electrician/Rigger

Contactor to provide services to the US Navy to over haul AC and DC motors assign to Motor Rewind Department with a crew of 4 personal, would oversee the department work load, would conduct motor rewind to AC motors, DC motors and MG sets, rewound generators, over haul brush rigging, conduct balancing of rotors and conduct vibration and sound analyses to each completed motor, Steam clean out Generator windings in place, set up heaters for drying recording readings on the windings to bring back to full condition, conduct rewind by hand with the use of flat copper wire, seal the windings and bake for proper condition

Electrician to run new wiring for the switchboard to the shore power station, make up new shore power cables 3 phase

As an assign rigger would assist rigging out or rigging in motors or MG set aboard naval ships

While performing duties sometimes this would require going out to sea aboard the naval ship while performing work on a Generator set or Emergency repair would require flying out to the ship
