Project Management

I have done project on IPM under rural development project Shriram Krishi Vikas Programme sponsored by DSCL for the period of 4yrs.

IPM programs work to monitor for pests and identify them accurately, so that appropriate control decisions can be made in conjunction with action thresholds. This monitoring and identification removes the possibility that pesticides will be used when they are not really needed or that the wrong kind of pesticide will be used.

Business Development/ Marketing

Coordinate marketing functions such as segmenting, targeting, positioning, & planning for carrying out sales of all kinds of bulk fertilizers, Seed, Pesticides, Soluble fertilizers, and value added inputs in the area.

Forecasting future price trends by the help of various research tools and analyzing the demand & supply of different commodities on time-to-time basis.

Promoting promotional activities such as Stockiest /Dealers meets Trails / demonstrations, Campaigns as a part of brand building & market development effort.

Coordinate with Large sales area and development force.

Responsible for implementing innovative methods for brand promotion and sustaining dealer loyalty. Expanding dealer network for substantial business growth improved market share.

Channel Management

Developing and appointing new channel partners to expand product reach in the market and working in close interaction with the dealers and distributors to assist them to promote the product.

Coordinate various meetings/ interactions with various channel members including distributors, dealers, input suppliers & output traders.

Coordinating the entire order execution right from receipt of order to dispatch of goods following up for timely payments/ collections, ensuring prompt redressal of grievances & service claims.

Managing Distribution network & handling distributors & modes of transportation for the timely delivery of goods to the Project sites.

Relationship Management

Identifying key/institutional accounts like govt. officials, Research Stations, Universities, marks fed and strategically secure profitable business.

Relationship building with decision makers and key buyers in pre-sales negotiation stages.

Interacting & developing rapport with all external/internal constituents of client at all levels; for maximum client retention and achievement of service revenues.

Liaising with different trade partners (dealers & retailers) to achieve the budgeted numbers.

Business Analysis/ Product Development

Conducting field experiments, undertaking field trails and participating in state level/ district level farmers fair.

Interfacing with farmers and providing the advisory and counseling services on crop cultivation viz fertilization, disease prevention, harvesting and other technical knowledge about the products.

Interacting with farmers and providing advice in the selection of Agro-inputs and monitoring the results of the product through demonstration informatory sessions and lecture.

Team Management

Monitoring, recruiting & training manpower & ensuring quality deliverables in the market.

Provide direction, motivation & training to the field sales team for ensuring optimum performance.

Training the team to keeping a close check on the stocks/ outstanding figures & ensuring adherence to the norms of the co & managing products in terms of prices, quality and new products.
