My Present Responsibility as Desk Engineer includes:

* Safe start –up, shut down & synchronization of unit.

* Smooth & Efficient operation of Boiler & related auxiliaries.

* Monitoring and handling of any kind of Emergency & abnormality.

* Doing isolation and normalization of auxiliaries as per requirement & safety permit system.

* Preparation of daily, monthly and yearly plant reports and Work notification requests through SAP.

* Try to minimize auxiliary power, water & coal consumption.

* Take care and make decision during emergency with consulting seniors if time permits.

* Make Co-ordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Department.

My Key Responsibility during Commissioning Work included as:

* Active Participation in commissioning activities: Hydro Test, Chemical Cleaning, Steam Blowing.

* Saved unit twice due to abnormality of equipment’s.

* BOE Certified (0843) under Directorate of Steam Boilers, Government of Maharashtra.

* Commissioning of FGD Unit #1 to 4 systems.

Execution of Daily Field Operation Activities

All running (FGD, Boiler, Turbine, Switchgears &GIS) equipment healthiness checking in local.
