Assistant Systems Engineer, Tata Consultancy Services Limited, Mumbai (August 2014 – June 2016)

Programmer Analyst, worked at TCS BaNCS. (A core banking software product). Had a regular interaction with the client (Credit Union Australia - CUA) and was responsible for all the major deliveries of release patches.

C++, COBOL development engineer, worked on platforms Linux and Mainframes.

SQL developer on IBM DB2. Did all the activities related to relational database design/database management, queries, database modification, synchronization, region setup and region refreshment on client environment.

PROJECTS :

Working on Master’s thesis in the field of program profiling and memory management to provide faster memory access based on access patterns(Read/Write) and having experience with Intel provided program analysis tool Pin in a Linux based platform. The work also focusses on the different phases of program execution, recording the program execution called pinpoints and analysing by replaying those recorded pinpoints to collected statistics related to Memory Pages based on the changes in program execution phases.

Implemented a small scale Search engine that works like Google/Bing using the concept of Inverted Index and Vector space model with the functionality of relevance feedback of users. The programming is done in Python and Django has been used to connect to the server with Web Interface which was created using HTML and CSS. We had crawled several pages over Internet to make the search engine results broader.

Implementation of a Movie database system named Critic’s Corner using MySQL using Python which mainly focusses on Independent and Regional films. Have implemented concepts of Relational Database.

Software implementation of a new Core banking product platform using C++, COBOL, JCL and CICS with all the basic functionalities that are carried out by a bank in a Mainframes platform.

Implementation of a Linux Shell, CPU Scheduler and Buddy allocator using C in Unix platform.

Worked on front end developing projects for building small websites and connecting it with frameworks like Django.
