ACADEMIC PROJECTS

• Product design and manufacturing of Umbrella dryer: The product was designed after an ethnographic study using quality tools like House of Quality, TRIZ and Pugh Matrix, and Functional Block Diagram. The product was designed in solid works and analysis done in ANSYS. The product was fabricated and tested.

• Design of Solar Panels: Calculated solar energy amount by using MATLAB code

• Cogeneration hospital design project: Designed small -scale hospital. Collected data and proposed different solutions to meet thermal and electrical needs. FORMULA MANIPAL TEAM

SUSPENSIONS TEAM

• Directed design, validation of next generation radiator (heat exchanger) and other peripherals for 600 cc engine with efficient packing

• Planned fabrication, developed bill of materials (BOM), performed build v/s buy cost analysis and executed the assembly/disassembly processes to evaluate the readiness of the car

• Designed and installed push rod suspension

MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

CAPSTONE PROJECT

To study mono-composite leaf spring subjected to bending stress:

• Designing and manufacturing of leaf spring and subjecting it to bending stress.

• Designed and prepared the leaf spring mold. Prepared tensile specimens to find the best stacking arrangement
