Manufacturing of realistic intentional crack defect welding is difficult and is a challenging work. So, a method of creating crack defect welding is proposed for research purposes and training of NDT technicians. Based on the technology using SMAW combining with GTAW, which allows to create the welding with cracks similar to natural cracks.
