EXPERIENCE
2018 – Present Case Farms Morganton, NC
Senior Recruiter
Developed and implemented a recruiting program for Case Farms. In this role I spearheaded and organized the creation of a recruiting office in Puerto Rico and established the parameters and infrastructure necessary to successfully attract, recruit and retain employees from Puerto Rico to work in the Manufacturing facility in Morganton.
In the course of 6 months created a pipeline of candidates, recruited and relocated over 180 employees.
As a result of the recruiting initiative, the implementation of a temporary worker pool and a wage increase we have had a substantial drop in turnover and retention has improved.
2012 - Present Case Farms Morganton, NC
Complex HR Manager
In charge of all compliance, staffing, retention and talent development for the Morganton Complex, which is a business unit comprised of a processing facility that employees over 900 employees, a feed manufacturing facility that employs over 30 employees, a Hatchery which employees over 40 employees and all management associated with those operations.
Oversee and Manage the HR Department, having direct oversight over 11 Supervisory and Clerical people who report through my chain of command.
Spearheaded and helped put in place the partnership with the local hospital that allows us to provide free healthcare to our current employees who are actively enrolled in our medical plan.
2010 - 2012 Panera Bread Northeast Area
Regional HR Director
Oversaw the HR functions for 7 Bread Manufacturing Facilities in the Northeast Region of the US.
Worked Hand in Hand with Operations Partners to support and implement HR initiatives across the Businees Region. My Region Included Beltsville, MD, Fairfield, NJ, Warren and Cincinnati, OH, Minneapolis, MN, Detroit, MI, and Toronto, CAN,
Served as main point of contact for employee issues, Labor issues and advisor on day to day HR functions for all facilities in the region.
2000 - 2010 Tyson Foods Various
HR Manager
Served in positions of increasing responsibility during my tenure in HR with Tyson foods. Among those worked for 3 years in employee and community relations, did a formal HR internship for 3 years in one of Tyson’s largest processing facilities in the East Coast, and assumed responsibility for a multi unit facility in Temperanceville, VA for 5 years.

INTERESTS
My interests at this stage in my life revolve around spending as much time with my kids before they all abandon the nest. I spend the majority of my time at school events, sport meets and other such activities.
When I am not doing that I like to ride my motorcycle and enjoy the area.
