Senior Process Safety Manager
Professional Summary
When working 24 years in a large petrochemicals manufacturing facility, I actively recognized and promoted the critical need to identify and resolve Process Safety Management (PSM) deficiencies to reduce the risk of significant process safety related incidents. During my career, I led the formal investigation of approximately 100 significant process safety, environmental, and/or manufacturing reliability incidents in order to define effective corrective actions. Many corrective actions involved driving our application of specific PSM element guidelines towards world class standards. I also recognized the critical need for developing and maintaining a sense of continued process safety vulnerability and awareness to prevent major incidents. My experience includes hands-on application of all other PSM elements when functioning as a Site Senior Production Engineer and administrating all PSM elements when later functioning as the Site PSM Engineer.
