Job Duties
1. People Management, Planning, Foster Teamwork, Giving Feedback, Customer Service, Developing Budgets, Self-Motivated, Energy Level, Multi-tasking, Resolving Conflict, Verbal Communication.
2.Prepares and cooks food for special diets from recipes formulated by qualified personnel.
3.Assists in on-the-job training and assist in directing the work of food service workers, students and other employees within area of assignment.
4.Assists in the preparation of salads and desserts.
5.Notifies supervisor of food and supplies needed. Checks in food and supplies as necessary. Maintains food production records.
6.Cleans kitchen, kitchen utensils and equipment; secures refrigerator and freezer.
7.Serves food as required.
8.Maintains maximum standards of sanitation and safety.
9.Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
10.Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
11.Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
12.Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
13.Prepare and package individual place settings.
14.Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
15.Sweep and scrub floors
16.Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
17.Set up banquet tables.
18.Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
19.Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
