Saudi International Petrochemical Company Dammam Methanol Reformer as per recommended thermograph hot spot area found and marked for dismantled at Mixing chamber, floor, roof, east, west, south, north wall, flue gas duct no.01 to 13 Side wall, floor, roof marked and dismantled.Conzone module 01 & 02 floor, roof, Side wall dull sound & crack area marked and dismantled.APH Duct marked and dismantled as per thermograph report. Steam Reformer as per thermograph report marked dislodge module, gap between the module, hole between the module centre, tube surrounding gaps, burner surrounding gaps,fg tunnel lintel block fixing, peep hole change,manway wrapping with ceramic blanket. Make Gas Boiler A & B dull sound area dismantled and recast as per drawing and material. Module thickness 225mm, 275mm, 229mm, 220kg/m3 &ceramic blanket 25mm, 50mm, density128 kg/m3.Surface preparation anchors welding as per procedure & tamping finishing final Hammer test found dull sound and repaired block as per marking and cast able grade as per design enhancement, (Go lite 155 C/G hot face, H2O, 25%, Go lite 124C/G back up layer, H2O 44%) cracks repaired, weak and damage peep hole repaired. Coffin box wherever the damages found damage blanket or board lining replace with new ones. CPCL Shut down Reactor, Regenerator, TSS, Flue Gas Line, Orifice chamber, Google Wall Refractory lining Inspection & Application.

CRUDE:-

(a) Crude Furnace:-As per Recommended Repair Floor reset the burner blocks using called trowel PC 90U.Radiant Walls gunning called cast LW Mix 124C/Caulk all open cracks greater than 3mm using Thermbrake 403.Replace the ceramic fiber on all the view port doors using 128 Kg/m3 ceramic fiber.

(b)Desalter: - As per Recommended Repair thin erosion resistant lining Resco AA22S-19mm.Hexmesh-304H.Remove the loose refractory from crack location and clean area suitably. Cracks and voids more than 3-4 mm pointing. Apply by hand packing .For mixing use Hobart mixer.

(c)Charge Heater: - As per Recommended Repair break out the damage brick on the floor and replace with new stock and calde trowel mortar. Radiant Walls gunning calde cast LW Mix 124C/G, by means of gunning. 128 Kg/m3 ceramic fiber in between the tubes and tube sheet on the header boxes.

(d)Debutanizer Heater, Splitter Reboiler, Charge Heater, No.1 Inter Heater Reactor Charge Heater, Stripper Boiler:-As per Recommended Repair floor reset the burner quarls using high alumina mortar (90%).Radiant wall caulk all open cracks greater than 3mm using thermbrake 403.Replace the ceramic fiber using 128 Kg/m3 ceramic fiber. Roof and Lower convection re instate the lining using calde cast LW Mix 124C/G, by means of gunning.

RFCC:- Reactor charge Heater,product stripper reboiler. As per Recommended Repair floor reset the burner quarls using high alumina mortar (90%).Radiant wall caulk all open cracks greater than 3mm using thermbrake 403.Replace the ceramic fiber using 128 Kg/m3 ceramic fiber. Roof and Lower convection re instate the lining using calde cast LW Mix 124C/G, by means of gunning.
