Title
MEM – Marketing Events Measurment
Client
Bank Of America
Tools Used
Quality Center 9, Toad, Putty, WSFTP
Project Summary :
MEM (Marketing Events Measurement) is a self-servicing tool for Bank of America to calculate the Return of Investment (ROI) for the events that are sponsored by BOFA. ROI is calculated by taking different parameters like GNA,NNA,PC and LIFT and it also depends on the type of the attendee.ROI is calculated only for Clients and Converted Clients. MEM consists of Front End Processes and ETL(Batch Processes).
Front End Processes
Front End Processes include 3 functionalities namely Attendee Management, User management and View Reports. Attendee Management functionality mainly includes management of the attendees for an event such as Add Attendee, Upload Attendee and Attendee List. User management includes 3 functionalities namely Manage Users, Modify Users and Delete Users. In View reports functionality, a report for an individual event can be generated and in this page one can find information for the event such as the amount invested by the bank and ROI.
ETL Batch Processes
ETL processes include MIDAS, GEKKO, Marketscape and Donnelly Matching processes. MIDAS is a third party application which provides all the client related information in the form of a FTP source file and a batch process is run to load this information into MEM DB. GEKKO process provides all the parameters that are needed for calculating ROI in the form of a FTP source file and a batch process is run to load this data into MEM DB. Marketscape provides the event related information in the form of a FTP source file and a batch process is run to load this data into MEM DB. Donnelly matching process is a third party application which will determine if a prospect is converted into a client after the event is conducted. After the event, if prospect gets converted into a client then Donnelly process will update a conversion flag for that prospect with a 'Y' value and send it back to MEM DB
