Senior IT Systems Administrator (July 2013 – Present)
Oversee $500K+ budget and lead large-scale IT infrastructure projects and reported to COO. Gather client and project requirements, employ Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and create detailed project roadmaps, plans, schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS) to meet objectives. Manage interdisciplinary teams to ensure technical, financial, and business needs are met. Focus efforts, define process and tools, and track project milestones to meet time, budget, and overall objectives.
Managed migration of 240 Exchange 2010 accounts to Office 365. Resulted in faster, more stable access to email from any part of the world. Most accounts were 50GB+ in size.
Implemented Dell Core Backup and Microsoft Azure, ending reliance on tape backup and providing a secondary offsite back up.
Travel offshore to drilling rigs to install and configure Windows Server 2016, AMOS asset management, Sage 300 ERP software, and Fortinet phones.
