Health -

Cross checking first aid facility with doctor and ambulance at site and office.

Making emergency arrangement in company approved Hospital near work places, so that serious patients can be admitted over there and could be saved their lives by giving treatment immediately.

Checking that all employees are getting clean & cool approved tested drinking water.

Checking food quality, food items expiry date, proper storage and disposal of waste.

Checking proper capes for cook team, arranging every 06 months medical checkup of mess team, providing PPEs according to weather i.e. rain & winter etc.

Conducting inspection of housekeeping of mess areas.

Making arrangement of rest shelters, so that during break time & red flag or above 40 degree temperature time workers can take rest at sites.

Checking proper duty hours for all workers and staff.

Checking proper illumination at site, at height & office work.

HSE related inspections - Periodically inspections are conducting and using Standard Formats-

Facility, Camp and Job sites along with site in charge

Fire extinguishers, eye wash & body shower.

Monitoring the heavy lifting activities & ensuring the proper lifting tools & tackles are being used as per plan.

Vehicles Inspection - Conducting Inspections of all Light & Heavy Vehicles & equipments as per checklist.

Electrical Inspection – Conducting electrical inspection with electrical Engineer/Electrician i.e. Power Cables, Electrical Boards, ELCB, MCB, Earthing, rain protection and guarding, Cable laying arrangement at height & in Scaffolding etc.

Carried out inspection of employee’s behavior i.e. Safe & Unsafe Act & Conditions.

Carried out inspection of Gas cylinders i.e. leak Test, Storage & Handling.

Risk Assessments: Making HIRA & JSA for identification of risk & Hazards of all activities at sites.

Training: - Conducting HSE awareness training to own and contract employees and workers on specific topics like- safety induction training, confined space, working at elevated locations, scaffolding erection, welding, grinding, gas cutting, hand power tools, excavation, LOTO control of hazardous energy, electrical safety, working with cranes and lifting tools & tackles etc.

Accident Investigation: Investigating and reporting of all accidents & Incidents including near miss and first aid cases to suggest management remedial measures to avoid recurrence.

HSE Motivational Activities: To organize HSE competitions, HSE quiz, HSE week celebrations, National Safety Day celebration etc.

HSE Statistics: To calculate and maintain safety statistics like Injury Frequency Rate, Severity Rate, training strength records and Longest Accident Free Period etc.

HSE Posters & signs. : Displaying HSE posters at all sites& offices for employee’s awareness.

HSE Policy: Implementing and displaying company HSE Policy at all places as per the requirements.

Personal Protective Equipments: Maintaining PPEs Stock, Proper Use and checking expiry date & Providing PPEs according to job, weather condition i.e. Rain, Winter & Summer.

ERP & Mock Drills: Making emergency response plan and conducting mock drills; so workers & Staff will aware about all types of emergencies and they could be handled it’s properly.

PTW – Cross checking PTW is issued or not for all works going at sites.

Environment –

Helping in plantation to avoid pollution.

Sprinkling of water on dusty roads to avoid dust which can be harmful employee’s health.

Proper storage of all types of chemicals & acids & displaying its appropriate MSDS with Hazards index labels & providing required Eye & Body showers / washers along with PPEs.

Proper disposal of safety tanks wastes & making arrangement to clean toilets / washrooms.

Waste Management (Hazardous & other Wastes) Cross checking approved Vendors for handling Wastes, Proper Segregation, Storage and disposal.

Conducting inspection / cross checking of noisy equipment’s.

To handled STP of 7.5 ltrs with all process.
