Project 1
Project Name: Expanded Plant Record.
Client: First American Corporation
Title: Talend Developer
Environment: Talend data integration 5.6, oracle 10G, Windows 7.
Description:
Expanded Plant Record (EPR) is based on mortgage based document type. Mortgage or Deed of Trust. The Mortgage or Deed of Trust is a legal document in which the borrower transfers the title to a third party (trustee) to hold as security for the lender. When the loan is paid in full the trustee transfers the title back to the borrower. The main usage is to provide accurate data instead of providing complete data because the data should be hidden. The complexity is here it is American government data which should be secured.
Responsibilities:
Involved in business requirement gathering, analysis and understanding the functional specification
Created metadata for oracle, vector wise, oracle, flat files for implementing ETL jobs in Talend.
Created various jobs in Talend for implementing business logic.
Worked with different sources such as Oracle and flat files, mysql.
Extensively used vector wise load to load data from flat files to staging tables.
Extensively used for joining different sources using tmap components Used different methods/functions in tmap for doing transformation logic.
Used input and output filters in tmap for filtering the data based on the requirement.
Created context variable to store metadata information of all the sources and targets Using Debugger to find the bottlenecks in the Jobs.
Applied MD5 concept on selected columns which will helped for time consuming.
Developed ETL applications using various Talend components like tFilterRow, tAggregateRow, tMap, tJoin, tOracleInput, tOracleOutput, tOracleConnection, tOracleSP, tOracleRollback, tJava, tJavaRow, tFilelist, tFileCopy, tWaitForFile, tFileInputDelimited, tfileOutputDelimited, tRowGenerator, twaitForFile, tFuzzyJoin, tFuzzyMatch.
Project 2
Project Name: Starters
Client: First American Corporation
Title: Talend Developer
Environment: Talend Data Integration 6.2, Oracle 11g, SQL Server and flat files, Windows10.
Description:
The aim of the project is to obtain data from the source tables and applying transformation and other business logic as required to obtain cleansed data. This cleansed data is further sent to other systems to detect anomalies in .CSV, flat files, XML and identify possible incorrect data by using Regular expression concepts and Regex components.
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in extraction of data from various sources like relational databases Oracle, SQL Server, and Flat Files.
Involved in writing SQL Queries and used Joins to access data from Oracle
Participated in all phases of development life-cycle with extensive involvement in the definition and design meetings, functional and technical walkthroughs.
Designing, developing and deploying end-to-end Data Integration solution.

Develop the ETL mappings for XML, .CSV, .TXT sources and loading the data from these sources into relational tables with Talend ETL Developed Joblets for reusability and to improve performance.
Developed high level data dictionary of ETL data mapping and transformations from a series of complex Talend data integration jobs.
Design and Implement ETL for data load from Source to target databases and for Fact and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) Type1, Type 2, Type 3 to capture the changes.
Prepared ETL mapping Documents for every mapping and Data Migration document for smooth transfer of project from development to testing environment and then to production environment.
Created context variables and groups to run Talend jobs against different environments.
Used Talend components are tMap, tDie, tConvertType, tLogCatcher, tRowGenerator, tExtractRegexFields, tUnite, tSplitRow, tReplace, tSortRow, tFilterRow, tParallelize.
