Highlights & Achievements
Inherited a Quality Program lacking Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), foreign material control, product security, and customer requirements. Led the reorganization of the Quality Program that improved customer audit scores; maintained superior rating consistently scoring 95% to99.8% during tenure.
Initiated collaboration with R&D, site manufacturing leaders, quality departments at all manufacturing sites, supplier procurement, and marketing to rebuild a product trial process to evaluate and manage change request. Re-installed the process at multiple locations and built an information sharing site with 200+ product trials.
Designed and introduced a company-wide program to audit raw material suppliers which realized audits for all finished product raw materials.
Investigated a drastic increase of product quality complaints from one customer over a short time frame. Root cause analysis (RCA) investigation showed that customer’s receiving process lost 1.5% to 2% of a product.
