Project Name : AXA Project

Description : AXA is extending its footprint into the United States with the launch of its U.S. Employee Benefits business. This newline of business will provide insurance coverage to the employees of an organization.

Software Requirements : Datastage ETL Tool, MySQL Database, UNIX

Roles and Responsibilities :

Used Datastage to extract client data from Oracle and mapped the data into a target business warehouse.

Used Datastage Director to view logs for any errors and warnings.

Used parallel Extender for Partition Parallelism, the same job would effectively run simultaneously by several processing Nodes each handling separate subset of Total data.

Used Surrogate Keys to keep track of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).

Extensively used Pivot stage to pivot the source data to achieve required table structures like converting data from rows into a column.

Imported and exported repositories across projects.

Experienced in creating Custom Routines/Transform function used across the project.
