Introduction to Networks- Introduced to the principles and structures of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts and operations. Hands on experience with Cisco switches and routers (Cisco Switch 2960 model and Cisco Routers 1941/2911 models). Built a simple LAN topology by applying basic principles of cabling; basic configurations of network devices, including PC’s, routers and switches; and implemented IP addressing schemes. Also learned how to use the many show commands to establish baseline performances and troubleshooting techniques to help with network problems, if any.

Routing and Switching Essentials- Knowledgeable on how switches operate and are implemented in a LAN environment for both small and large networks. Additionally, I am able to configure, verify, and troubleshoot the primary routing protocols and recognize/correct routing issues.
