Modelling of high speed traction using Linear Induction motor. This project is aimed to show the application of Linear induction motor in traction system. As like rotatory induction motor linear motor also consist of stator and rotor. The stator will be used in locomotive and the rotor is 2mm aluminum sheet which is used as track. The stator consist of 3 phase winding and when it is given 3phase supply current is induced in rotor due to electromagnetic Induction and it experiences thrust from principle of electromechanical energy conversion and loco moves.
