Relevant Studies: Advanced Diploma of Interpreting from RMIT, Certificate 4 in Community Services from TAFE NSW.

Skills: fluency in both languages, smooth management in conducting conference videos/calls, good communication, applying accuracy and objectivity when interpreting,understanding of different cultures, ability to make good rapport, being professionally friendly, trusting, applying the code of Ethics of the profession, duty of care, privacy, respect for people at work, and upholding ethics of the industry at all the times.

Knowledge: good proficiency in writing and reading and vast vocabulary in both languages, having a general knowledge of Australian way of life due to living in Australia for more than 27 years, being up to date with current dialect of Persian language as a result of having close ties with Iranian community and also Iranian cyber communities.

Experiences: Working for TIS National, Department of Human Services, All graduates Interpreting services, Ethnic Interpreters, Oncall Interpreters and also a few smaller organizations. I have worked in legal, Health, Education, Mental Health,,,etc areas of interpreting.

I believe having studied Community Services makes me a better candidate for this position as I have learned about the mindfulness of sensitivities involved in working with people from different countries, backgrounds and cultures.
