Effectively provide recruitment and selection for turnover in the plant hourly staff of 400, including the initial screening, interview and reference checks
Manage and coordinate the employee attendance program as per the collective agreement. Including the daily tracking, documentation from employees, monthly reporting and completion of discipline notices for delivery by supervisors.
Deliver new employee orientation on benefits, probationary program, Kronos system and introductions to supervisors and other support staff
Coordinate all activities of the Kronos time keeping system for the unionized plant employees; including absenteeism reasons, late and missing punches, verifying overtime hours with supervisors and coordinating sick payments
Support plant management with filing/ other office work, plant layoffs and recalls 2
