P.A.PINIONS. is Manufacturer of Highly Precise Shafts, Gear wheel, Pinions and gear boxes assembly for Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial Automation for USA, Switzerland, and Germany & U.K. PA PINIONS Group is also a major supplier to almost All OEM in India like Endurance, Padmani, Sogefi Engine, and Bosch.P.A. Pinions have all manufacturing facilities like, Machining, Sheet Metal, Press shop, laser welding,Assembly of gear box, Heat treatment, Injection molding & Plating (Ion & Wet).etc.

Key Accountabilities.

(1) Process Management

Define, standardize and monitor product & process quality parameter for ongoing improvement in the process by designing quality plans, SOP, and by implementing quality tool like Control chart, brainstorming analysis, Cause and effect diagram and Pareto chart etc. .

Improve process capability studies for critical process parameter, cycle time study, PFMEA Review, Design of experiment by conducting trials and analyze to ensure products meet customer requirements.

Daily quality MIS review of plant and take corrective action for the reduction of COPQ with lean methodology .

Review product & process audit as per plan, process validation, Testing of product to monitor the performance as per OEM Standard.

Monitor & ensure final product quality by maintaining sampling plans, conducting Dock audits & taking timely feed backs from the customers

Manage inspection process at various stages and decides disposal of non conforming products and follow up and implementation of improvement action plan.

Monthly review of project undertaken for continual improvement with CFT and taken action to achieve the quality objective with lean methodology

(2)Calibration of Measuring Instruments:

To handle standard room and ensure periodic calibration of measuring instrument like roughness tester, hardness tester, profile projector, XRF plating thickness tester, Rolling tester, Comparator,VMS,TMM, digital Micrometer,Vernier and study the error within the measurement by conducting MSA, GR&R studies.

(3 )Quality system Management

Develop and establish quality management system in line with quality management system ISO9001:2015 and internal process.

To lead the internal quality audit, report to management the result and follow up on corrective action.

Implementation ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO/IATF 16949:2016 Standard by managing internal & external trainings, conducting Internal Audits,reviewing Quality Manual & Procedures & conducting management review meetings.

Review Risk analysis of all Business process through MIS with the management for continual improvement to align with organizational objective.

Coordinate with certification & consultant bodies for audits and ensure compliance to legal requirement.

(4) Customer relation management.

Analyzing the customer complaints, Return rejection by using 8D methodology, taking corrective actions and check effectiveness of corrective actions .

To manage customer concern and ensure the effectiveness of all response, including response time (24hrs) to customer.

(5) Supplier quality improvement

Extending technical assistance to upgrade capability of vendors in meeting with requirement of company quality, cost and delivery (QCD) and enlisting them as certified vendors.

Incoming material analysis through chemical composition to fulfill ROHS & REACH compliances, testing of raw material through outsource agency & deploy quality and procurement strategies among the suppliers

Conduct supplier audit and qualify the process capability as well QMS effectiveness. To monitor supplier quality performance and initiate review meeting with suppliers.

(6) New Product development

To Plan and coordination of new product release implement and preparation of APQP and submission of PPAP for customer approval with ISIR, GR&R and SPC, etc.

Review drawing and standard as per customer requirement, RFQ, technical review with customer and monitoring of time plan for the new product submitted to customer.

Provide assistance in procurement of gauges and fixture for new product development. & validation of measuring instruments, jigs and fixtures & special Processes.

Plan QA budgetary requirement finalization and approvals

Obtain customer feedback during development activity.

(7) Employee empowerment

Provide training to production and quality team on 5S, kaizen, SPC, 7QC Tool, Six sigma, PFMEA, MSA, Quality plan, Quality management system(ISO 9001:2015),8D methodology, Inspection method, and MY MACHINE concept etc to improve the organization skill level .

Best Supplier by USA customer in 2017-18 among 259 suppliers.

Cost saving of 1 million in 2017-18 by reducing rejection, Process re-design, improving process capability and developing new fixtures.

Reduce internal rejection PPM from 28 K to 11 K. & Customer PPM from 3K to 1.1 K. in 2017-2018.,

(2) M.K AUTO CLUTCH CO. KALA AMB(H.P) Manager Quality and MR(QMS) Sep,2011 –Oct,16.

Worked with MK AUTO CLUTCH CO, KALA AMB, and Himachal Pradesh as a quality head &MR(Qms) since Sep2011 to Nov,2016.

MK Group is engaged in manufacturing clutch plates, clutch plate assembly, brake shoe, disc brake pad, pressure plates and pressure die cast for two wheeler and three wheeler markets. MK Group is a major supplier to almost All OEM in India like Royal Enfield, Bosch, SKF, Atul Shakti, fedral mogul. The brand MK is synonymous to CLUTCH PLATES and MX to brake shoe.

Achievement: (1) Annual Saving of 96.0 Lakh in COPQ with DMAIC and Lean concept.

(3) Redesign work process of, clutch plate, brake shoe, to eliminate waste through lean implementation.
