FIG is common interface to multiple General Ledges (SAP ECC, Merrill Oracle, and FCS).Allows source application to send files in current layout to be mapped/translated to the target ledger. Performs standard validation of all files, including duplicate checks and attributes such as currencies and segment values. Performs automated suspense posting for disabled segments, out of balance etc. Transforms legacy format data into the standard chart of accounts structure. Provides notifications of details of execution, errors and suspense entries. Summarizes and balances data based on code block. Accepts balance lines to be posted as transactions using the squeeze logic. Performs large amount splitting and document splitting logic to accommodate SAP ECC performance restrictions.
