Summary

I am a pharmacist and completed my PhD (2011) at Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University in Turkey. I was a research and teaching assistant between 2002 and 2013 and quit my job as a professor in January 2019.

I have been working as a lecturer in Graduate Program, Phytotherapy MSc Program and Pharmacognosy MSc & PhD Programs. My major research interests have focused on in-vivo and in-vitro biological activities of natural products and traditional medicinal plants of Turkey. I have also worked on qualitative and quantitative analysis of food and plant extracts and application of pharmacopoeia methods.
