Presently working as an Assistant Manager (Electrical and Instrumentation), having wide E&I engineering and Estimation experience in the EPC & Consultancy works related to Cement, Power, and Mineral sectors.

Responsibilities:
Prepare a bid preparation schedule for submission of bids; identify people responsible for various activities within predetermined timelines, and a common understanding of the scope.
Studying the Tender documents and coordinating with the proposal manager for raising technical queries and attending review meetings with all discipline PSL’s to get the inputs for cost estimation and to compile the technical and commercial proposal.
Co-ordinate with all the proposal team members (Civil, mechanical and Process) to ensure completion of various activities on time; arrive at solutions for any unresolved issues. And ensure smooth flow of inter-disciplinary inputs through periodic discussions with the discipline engineers.
Preparation of Database of the submitted proposals for future proposals and lessons learnt from the past project to consider the same in the future proposals.
Follow-up with the procurement department for vendor offers and obtains vendor responses for the technical clarifications raised. Ensure generation of all deliverables by Engineering Disciplines as per Bid requirement (BOQs, Technical Documents to be attached to Bid, costing for various equipment and bulks etc). Shortlist and identify target vendors for various key equipment/ packages
Obtain bid tabulations and cost estimates for various equipments and bulks from the procurement department and review the same to arrive at optimum costing. Assist in review of Construction offers received from various subcontractors and estimate cost for Project Support which includes Engineering, procurement Services, Office Facilities, Site Facilities, Travel, Expediting Costs, Inspection Costs, Vendor Rep Costs and other third party service costs
Review of project Schedule and cost estimates to be submitted along with Bid
Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirement with respect to project execution plans, organization charts job specific technical write ups, bank guarantees, commercial and technical qualifications and prepare responses to the client post bid queries.
