Coordination Center: In the coordination center, I'm responsible for security information for TSA for the state of South Carolina. I receive and send out emails dealing with security information and security briefings. I separated information in order of importance to send to Management and the workforce for Charleston International Airport, Greenville/Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, and Columbia Airports. I take in phone calls for Callouts and Reporting to duty late and put them into employees personal data base and notify Supervisor of absence or tardy for proper workforce manning. Maintaining database for weapons and dangerous items confiscated from the screening of passengers that lead to arrests and passenger's information. Conducting a bridgeline with all of management in the case of an event at one or more of the airports to keep management informed and involved. Notified the workforce of predicted passenger flow and any passengers that are on a list for extra screening. Received and handled phone calls from passengers for items missing from luggage and attempt to resolve the problem by gathering information from passenger and cross reference with a lost item/found item log.
