Responsible for training and state-certification of personnel for a 100+ employee private security contractor serving Oregon & Washington. Duties include advising corporate officers on state and Federal employment law, regulatory and compliance matters. Draft / update employee, operations, EEO / EAP policies, manuals and related documents. Review and advise as to interpretation of emp-loyee-related legal matters effecting Company. Conduct new employee interviews, hire and perform initial onboarding of selectees. Prepare business security proposals and contracts, and vet those received by the company. Monitor regulatory compliance, job safety and ongoing operations and training. Insure that employee interview, onboarding, discipline, complaint, evaluation and separation documents and processes are in legal compliance and performed following best practices. Interface with managers, clients and employees to anticipate and address potential problems and prepare contingent solutions for consideration.
