The Doha automated metro is scheduled to be launched in stages starting from the end of next year and expected to become fully operational by 2020.

The whole system will have 37 stations with 75km of track.

It will be equipped with Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) technology, a Wi-Fi based control system between vehicles and the computers controlling traffic.

Initially, the Doha metro system will consist of the Red, Green and Gold lines.

Besides the Doha metro system, RKH Qitarat will operate and maintain the Lusail light rail network that has nearly 18km of track and four lines serving 25 stations. The rail network is currently under construction and its first part will open in January 2019, with construction expected to be completed in 2020.

Job Responsibilities

a. Produce and manage tender programme in Primavera P6 according to the scope of works, client expectation, project objectives and deliverables. Once contract awarded, develop the tender programme in co-ordination with Project Team into a fully integrated Baseline Programme in line with agreed WBS and in accordance with the client's Project requirements. b. Provides strategic direction, planning, and managing the development & implementation of policies, procedures and work instructions for aligning the department's operations to the committed performance targets to ensure operational efficiency and performance c. Preparing Technical reports, Project Progress reports and Cash flow statements related to the Contract. d. Measure the performance capability of the sub-contractors to be engaged by the contractor to execute the underlying contracts;

a. Preparation of Clause 14 Baseline Program for project at the tendering stage as per the scope of work in MS Project

b. Coordinate between Head office for various issues at site regarding work progress & for issues impacting activities on the critical path.

c. Complete resource planning including labour & non labour (Machinery) as per project scope using productivity norms.

d. Review & analysis of Contract documents for each Construction Package and advice the Projects Manager of any planning deficiencies from scheduling point of view. e.
