&Thermal simulation (Support –FNA, FOE & FOA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the requirements from the client side, preparing query and clarifying document

• Geometry cleanup and surface meshing by capturing all important components without compromising the quality parameters

• Model build is done in order to reduce the heat flow across all the thermal parts based on the CFD concepts

• Underhood parts are modeled in detail for Taitherm (RadTherm) and Fluent TOOLS USED:

Teamcenter, Vis-Mockup & ANSA

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Certificate of Excellence is given for executing projects in CAE - CFD (Cooling and Thermal)

PROJECT 2: Full Vehicle model build for Aero Acoustics – Aerodynamic shape study and Interior Cabin Noise Study – CAE (CFD-Aero for FNA) RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the requirements from the client side, preparing query and clarifying document

• Aerodynamic geometry cleanup and surface meshing (STL mesh) is carried out on both surface model and in FE model meshing is done

• Aerodynamic shape study and Internal Cabin Noise study model build is done as per client requirement

• A surface parts are studied in detail and Quality parameters are maintained as per client needs

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Appreciation received from the clients of all regions for developing a successful process flow for all the milestone of a vehicle

• Reducing the time in obtaining the material information by formulating a new process flow

• Analysis reports approximately matches with the test data results PROJECT WORK DURING GRADUATE PROGRAM:

Design of Propeller Driven Trainer Aircraft-Aerodynamic Analysis and structural analysis - The weight of the propeller driven trainer aircraft is reduced by placing the loads on different positions which in turn increases the fuel efficiency of the aircraft.

Upgradation of free jet into a miniature supersonic wind tunnel – Computational and Numerical simulation - Experiments and computational methods are used to investigate the flow properties. Mach 2.5 convergent divergent nozzle is designed using method of characteristics. Flow properties for that nozzle are analyzed in computational method and the nozzle obtained is fitted in free jet facility. The free jet facility can be used as a miniature supersonic wind tunnel.
